Perform all aspects of the purchase and sale of privately-owned
businesses (from initial due diligence to consummating the transaction).
Assist in determining, and then organizing, appropriate business
vehicle/structures (i.e. partnerships, corporations, joint ventures
and sole proprietorships).
Negotiate, structure and prepare shareholder, partnership,
distribution, licensing and joint venture arrangements.
Assist in resolving shareholder and partnership disputes.
Negotiate, prepare and review all types of business contracts.
Maintain corporate records.
Assist in developing and implement business succession plans.
Deal with regulatory authorities including the Competition
Bureau and Investment Canada Review Division.
